Great Ocean Walking and Talking
We have become quite domesticated. The dominant cultural norms encourage comfort and convenience, and in many ways our affluence quarantines us from the natural environment. And yet we know that being in nature is good for our souls, good for our bodies, good for our emotional wellbeing and good for our minds.
This program is designed to help us spend mindful and bodyful time outdoors with other people. We'll read material together that helps us engage meaningfully as we spend time outdoors, we'll share our own journeys of re-wilding, where-ever we're at in that process, and we'll get out onto the Great Ocean Walk and immerse ourselves in that incredible coastline. (Please note that pricing will be confirmed once venue and catering costs are finalised.)

We'll naturally look out for each other, but it is important to note that participants will need to be self sufficient on the bushwalk. This means being responsible to bring and carry your own pack in which you'll need food, cooking equipment, tent and sleeping gear. Walking clothing and boots for all weather conditions will also be a necessity. (We'll discuss a detailed list of what to bring during the Program). And you will of course need to have a level of fitness that will enable you to complete the walk. We will do the walk together 'as friends' and support each other, I am not an official guide.
